PLATO'S REPUBLIC was a Chicago-based original rock band active from 1996 through 2003. 

The founding core of the band consisted of Andy Eringis (vocals, guitars), Joe Smith (lead guitars), and Dominick Palmisano (drums).   Over the years, they were joined by bassists John Holiday (1996-1999), Todd Alimorong (2000), and Joe Auskalnis (2000-2003).

Over the course of their seven-year life, the band self-produced and released two full-length albums and one EP, all of which are available on several major download/streaming platforms.
